We at CENABLE CARE focus on the holistic development of the student. We help the student to enable themselves and like to instil self belief and motivational tactics to push kids beyond their capabilities. We maintain an optimum student-teacher ratio to provide individual attention. Furthermore, our staff is a lot more connected to the parents to update on feedback/progress + with a maximum group number of 8 students per class (Unlike other tutoring companies pushing for 15-20+), all staff have very good reach/track on how the kids are progressing

Yes, we offer the first week of tutoring for any subject at 50% off. During this week, it will be a pre-assessment of the student/their capabilities/understanding their goals and giving an idea of what the Cenablecare ecosystem of resources/learning is like

We provide notes, online content, regular mock tests, exam material, sac material, a testing platform, etc. The list is endless as we push to provide the kids with as much as possible to keep them occupied. The more work they do provided by the tutors, the better the results. Crash courses are provided for CAS based workshops, exam based runthroughs towards end of the year. Crashcourses beyond the weekly tutoring for VCE subjects will soon be incoporated in our offerings

We follow a hybrid model of online and offline. Experienced teachers focus on clearing doubts about concepts and help the students understand the application part so that they can easily relate to the things around and score excellent marks. Aside from that, we aim to get 1 full chapter done in anywhere between 2-3 classes. Goal is to finish the course few months before exams/end of the year, so allows tutors to spend some time doing revision and testing how the kids are with the content learnt this year

Akash, the founder of Cenablecare started the company in 2020. Since then, he has been doing full time tutoring going from strength to strength with more tutors being hired to expand the reach and a greater variety of students. There is a strict interview process before a tutor is considered. Aside from the expertise on a subject, personality is key for a tutor to be hired. The style of teaching of “self-enabling” is our motto, so with this training, all our tutors build good experience, ranging from 1-4+ years of tutoring experience, comprising of head/senior/junior tutors

The fee structure is to be paid in a term invoice. 5 invoices are to be sent across the year. (Term 1 inc holidays), (Term 2 inc holidays), (Term 3 inc holidays), (Term 4), (Dec/Jan holidays). A 2 week grace period is provided at the start of each invoice for any changes/cancellation/unattendances that will be expected during the term, in which a revised amount is sent for the invoice. Unfortunately, there is no refunds/credit if there is unattendance to a class after the revised amount is sent.

1-1 Rate with Akash Thomas is $80/hr, 1-1 Rate with a head/senior tutor for a subject is $70/hr, 1-1 Rate with a junior tutor is $60/hr. Please refer to tutor profiles on who the head/Senior/junior tutors are. Their titles are given qualifying their experience/leadership within the company. Group classes (Irresepective of any tutor) is $40/hr. VCE Classes are 1.5hrs, Years 5-10 maths/science/english are typically 1hr classes unless specifically requesting 1-1 for longer/shorter.

If notice was given during the grace period of the term invoice, a 1-1 makeup/catchup could be requested/organised depending on the tutors schedule. If an emegrency, unattendance takes place after the payment of the term invoice is done, then a zoom recording/lecture of the class is taken and provided among with all the resources to the student to catchup on so they don’t feel left out and so that the lesson fee paid at start of the term invoice is contributing to something that helps with the student to catchup on. If needed a quick 5min call can be organised to runthrough a summary of the class. To maintain progress, it is important to be of attendance in a weekly manner, as otherwise it will become challenging to stay with the class.

Unlike almost every other tutor company out there, 1-1 support and 1-1 tutoring is most definitely provided at 3 different cost options depending on the tutor’s availability and their experience with the subject. Although it is more recommended for a small classroom environment as easier comparisons can be made regarding a students weak/strong points relatively, if a student is very firm on wanting 1-1’s or is requesting extra 1-1’s for feedback, corrections, markings, etc, then that can most likely be organised

Head tutor refers to someone that has assisted with the construction of the course outline for Cenablecare in particular VCE subjects. They have a typically senior role beyond the scope of tutoring, such as doing quality control with training tutors as well as resource management

Senior tutor refers to someone who has experience/expertise in their VCE subject and follows the course outline provided by the head tutor. Further more, senior tutors also help with constructing the course outline for year levels 4-10 in English/Maths/Science

Junior tutor refers to someone with the assistance of the senior tutors construction of the course (Yr 4-10) can utilise that to teach their clients according to their expertise within the subject domain
