VCE English as an Additional Language (EAL) explores how the English language conveys meaning through various print and digital texts of diverse complexity. Students engage with a selection of texts from historical and contemporary contexts, including works from Australia and other cultures, covering a variety of forms, such as media texts, to analyse arguments. This subject is designed to cater to a wide range of goals and interests, including those of students who have English as an additional language.
