Haoyu

Hi, I'm Haoyu, the head tutor for VCE Biology and a senior tutor for VCE Specialist Maths, Math Methods, Physics, and Chemistry. I also work with Year 7–10 students for Math and Science.

I graduated from Balwyn High School with an ATAR of 99.60, achieving raw study scores of 45+ in Biology and Methods, and 40+ in Specialists, Physics, Chemistry, and English Language.

Through my personal experience with VCE, I've developed not only a strong command of STEM content, but also a deep understanding of the VCE study design and what examiners are truly looking for in that end of year exam. This insight is something I strive to pass on to every student I work with, helping them study smarter, not just harder.

I take a student-first approach to tutoring. This means I tailor my teaching style, explanations, and pace to suit each individual, ensuring lessons are engaging, effective, and aligned with their specific goals.
